Tsum Valley Treks & Expedition P Ltd was established in 2015 by local guide, Tanzin Gyalzen Lama with the major aim to generate income for the betterment of Tsum valley and its people. Our main guide and Managing Director of this company, Tanzin Gyalzen Lama was born in Tsum valley and he graduated with a Bachelor in Tourism Management. He has also completed the Basic Mountaineering Course and Mountain Leader Course. With 13 years of experience in trekking and mountaineering, he has successfully climbed mountains like Amadablam, Island, Mera and Lobuche. Regarding his involvement in social activities, he is the board member of Nepal Mountain Leader Association (NMLA) and Treasurer of Compassion Health CenterHen is very passionate about working towards improvement of health of local people, conservation of local culture, tradition and environment. Preservation of the natural biodiversity and its beautiful pristine environment is absolutely critical to the region and its inhabitants; therefore, Tanzin’s work is mostly aimed at generating income for the improvement of Tsum Valley and life of the local people.

Tsering Gyurmey, the Digital Marketing Manager and Strategist at Tsum Valley Trek and Expedition, is a versatile professional known for his expertise in comprehensive digital strategy development. From managing the company's online presence, including social media, content creation, SEO, and paid advertising campaigns, Tsering excels in navigating the digital landscape. His role extends to analytics, website management, and digital branding, ensuring a cohesive and optimized online experience. With a collaborative spirit, Tsering seamlessly integrates with other departments, fostering a unified approach to digital marketing. In addition to his role at Tsum Valley Trek and Expedition, Tsering serves as a Project Manager and Program Facilitator at Edulift, an educational non-profit organization. Here, he plays a pivotal role in driving impactful initiatives, showcasing his commitment to education, non-profit work, and creative pursuits.

Ngima Tashi Sherpa

Trek Leader

Ngima Tashi Sherpa, born in Khunde small sherpa village in the Everest region.He did his bachelor in travel and tourism management from Nepal college of travel and tourism, is a versatile guide, specializing in trekking around Everest, Tsum Valley, and Poon Hill. Additionally, he serves as a tour guide, showcasing the cultural richness of Kathmandu, particularly the world heritage sites.
